The glimpses of English club inaugural eve
- Grade 6 to 9 = 33 students
The club was inaugurated by sharing the importance of English language and its usage worldwide.
Later, a speech on ‘History of English language’ was given by S. Sowndharya of Grade 8F
Club activities:
Drop the stone activity:
Students were divided into four groups and one from each team should come in front to drop the stone in one cup as soon as possible. When they identify the word from the parts of speech inside the cup they have to frame a sentence within 30 seconds.
Telephone role play:
Students from grade 9 were asked to perform a role play as if they're speaking through telephone for the given situations.
MATH CLUB
MATH CLUB IS inaugurated officially on 8.7.2023,Saturday. The welcome address is given by B.Amesha of grade 9G.MS.Geetha elucidated the concept of RAMANUJAM'S MAGIC SQUARE.MS.L.priya and MS.G.Nithyagave MATH puzzles involving logical reasoning and analytical thinking to enhance the knowledge and sharpening of Mathematical skills of the students. Student members of Grades 6 to 9 participated and answered all the puzzles enthusiastically. The session ended with the student's feedback and vote of thanks delivered by Yeshiva of grade 9G.
FILM SCREENING CLUB
The session started with interaction about film, heroes and why students like film rather than studies. We always have a thought that if we study hard we can get success where as cinema is meant for entertainment. We never see the studies as simple and cinema as a harder one. It's a fact but we never used to it. Cinema is powerful tool which change the thought process, behavior, finally humankind. Appreciatation of cinema is very important which provoke us about creativity. Creativity not only art of making things beautiful it is about creating new ideas. Always we have to give importance for our conscious mind rather than actor or film while appreciate. This one we have to follow which will reflect in our personal life. Nowadays most of tamil film normalize the wrong thoughts and actions. This should be changed with better film appraciation. To know how to watch and analysefilm, two short films - "To quick to judge", " Elevator " was played. Films were reviewed and direct communication and don’t assume were main points discussed
