Faculty Enhancement Programs:
Throughout the academic year, teachers are given opportunities to improve their teaching and communication skills through rigorous training programmes.

SRV brings in renowned psychiatrists to conduct interactive parenting sessions, where topics like teen behavior, rebellion, discipline and raising self-confident children are discussed.

We have a career guidance cell that measures up the individual talents of students, their interests, and their passion and then, accordingly guides them forward in their choice of career.

SRV offers specialized coaching for the National Talent Search Examination that assesses students’ mastery over Science, Mathematics and English
We have made our school campus a plastic-free zone. We are proud to preserve our environment through this initiative and we are happy that our students are learning to do so, too.
Leadership training program:
Soft skills training provided to first year, higher secondary students to sharpen their personality and help them get through interviews, discussions and other professional challenges that lie ahead.
Veli katru Ulle varattum
A five-day intensive residential camp, conducted as the culmination of the year-long leadership programme. A large team of experts interact with our students during this camp and help them polish their inter-personal skills, communication, etiquette and so on. It’s an endeavour that seeks to make every SRVian, a well-rounded, successful individual.
YATRA: An unforgettable journey!
Youth Awareness Towards Realization & Achievement is a journey of self-discovery for our higher secondary students. Students are given an opportunity to experience a whole new world and in the process, they get a chance to learn a little more about life beyond the safe and secure walls of the school campus.
As a part of the YATRA programme, students attended a first-of-its-kind, three-day residential camp at the SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad. This year, the students went to the capital city to have a one-on-one session with Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee and also visit the Lal Bahadur Shastri IAS Academy.
Basically, an inspirational session Kanavu Meipada brings in a well-known personality whose personal success story serves as a strong motivation to students.
Communication Skills Development
Listen and be heard!
At SRV, we place great emphasis on training our students in basic communication and presentation skills that would empower them to get through interviews and climb high on the corporate ladder.
The Creative Studio conducts workshops on poetry, prose, elocution, diction and all aspects of language development and enables student’s to develop their literary talents.
An unique initiative, aimed at the hostelites, Thulir is a sunday fiesta of music, dance, theatre, yoga, spirituality and nature trails that help our student’s unwind, while aiding their personality development. Thulir hosts a variety of activities like visits to monuments, museums and places of historical significance
Bio-metric attendance system
We use a bio-metric attendance system to inculcate punctuality in students. We know when they are coming in and when they leave the campus, so the safety of the children is also well-taken care of.
SRV has taken the initiative to publish books that would inspire kids and teach them valuable life lessons. This academic year alone, we’ve published six books on topics ranging from science to history to life stories of eminent personalities, exclusively for our school students.
‘Naangal 2012′, a magazine with a difference. It’s a one-of-a-kind, world-class initiative by SRV that talks to children and teens in their very own language. There are inspirational stories, art, craft, quizzes, puzzles and much, much more. In fact, our teachers have written oodles of praise and appreciation for SRV’s innovative efforts in the magazine. It’s a magazine that any kid would love to hang on to.
