Children of class VIII std were taken to Global nature foundation to learn more on Conservation of plants and animals.
Its a farm owned by Mr.Naveen Krishnan who is a farmer and as hobby collects rare exotic varieties of animals and plant species and planning to create a pet zoo in future. He got many awards from Government especially Metha Patkar award.
He addressed the children regarding the importance of biodiversity and need to conserve them.
Children enjoyed the whole day with animals like exotic breeds of dogs,californian rex guniea pigs,pygmy goats,Iguana,pony horses,rodents from Chile,ducks and geese.
They fed the animals. At the end of the day children realised animals are like mirrors..How we treat them they treat us back.
